After studying this course, I learned many about pop culture. At first, I think pop culture is like history. I know what pop culture is now. It means many common people prefer it. Pop culture includes many things such as food, clothing, and behavior. It can also mean movies, music, stars, and so on. Pop culture can change at any time, and it is dynamic. It can go from trash to classic. It can show people’s real thinking at that time. I think it can be called fads.
By choosing this course. I did many kinds of projects. For example, I did some posters, had some presentations, and read some articles. I can learn about different pop cultures from different countries by listening to my classmates' presentations. When I prepared projects, I could learn more things by searching on the internet. Then, I can try to use my own words to express the meanings.
At the end of the course, we did a project about Pop in My Culture. We cannot introduce the traditional culture, so I can learn about many strange cultures from other countries such as games. I cannot forget the word “the melting pot” which means different cultures mix in a place. They can share with each other and learn the advantages. I think I can use the human body to describe this course because the human body has different organs. It can represent different cultures. We cannot lose anything. That is what existence is all about.
In short, I have many Aha moments. I understand more about pop culture.
